Sayydia Irshad

Sayydia is an Immigration Solicitor with over 13 years’ experience in the field of Immigration and Asylum, and 11 years’ post-qualified experience. She has experience in dealing with a wide range of cases, such as asylum and appealing decisions to the First Tier and Upper Tribunal, family reunion applications, medical or family-based human rights applications both within and outside the immigration rules.

She has also successfully dealt with business immigration matters, such as obtaining sponsor licences, as well as applications under the Points Based System.

Sayydia has a very straightforward and thorough approach to advising clients on their immigration and asylum matters, ensuring that her clients always have a clear understanding of advice given and action to be taken.

Sayydia has dealt with both private and publicly funded matters, as a Senior Caseworker and in a Supervisory role, having previously worked in firms which hold a Legal Aid contract.

Completed Bachelors of Law at Swansea University in 2006

Completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England in 2007

Admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2011

Level 2 Immigration and Asylum Accreditation by the Law Society, with Supervisor status since 2018.

Accredited to Level 3 with the Office of Immigration Services Commission OISC in both Immigration and asylum

Regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner OISC, the Law Society and the SRA
